The reason I CHOSE Dr. B as my physician and consider myself extremely lucky to be one of his patients, is that he is an honorable caring doctor. He believes as I do; that medical freedom is NOT a privilege, but a God given right. I have been with dr Mayer for years and very Happy , he has taken great care of me . he doesn't push all kinds of medicines for you , but will prescribe medicines that will help , plus he has knowledge of natural medicines .. DR MAYER TAKES GREAT CARE OF YOU !! If you want to feel shame, embarrassment, and ridicule, THIS IS THE DOCTOR FOR YOU. If you want your feelings, symptoms, and concerns to be disregarded, THIS IS THE DOCTOR FOR YOU! My husband and I both saw Dr. Mayer in the past, and have had different, but equally as terrible experiences. My husband is also a healthcare professional and could advocate for himself. I on the other hand left in tears after my symptoms and concerns were ignored. Instead of medical intervention he told me I should lean on my belief in God.
The office staff is slow to respond. There must have been a change in Dr. Meyers nursing staff as they never return calls like the other before. For the last 6 months it’s been a challenge to get a nurse to call you back - 1st I was sick right before Christmas- 2nd tine needed a medication refill - and 3rd need a medication refill. My pharmacy says this is the worst - they requested electronic refill for 2 weeks now and of course I’ve as well as them. And no I’m not on any addictive medications
The only reason I would not recommend Dr. Mayer is I don't want him to be too busy because when he is better know he might be too busy for me. Truly he is the most caring MD I have ever met. I am a 72 yr old nurse and have been a nurse all my life so I think I am a good judge of MD.s I have 3 MDs locally and a team at a University and he by far is the most kind and had me and my problem as like the most important. He helped me to solve a problem I have had for most of my life. HE IS THE BEST!!!
