I sustained a complete distal bicep tendon tear requiring surgery. I had a delayed diagnosis (6+ weeks post-injury) due to several misinterpretations of scans and symptoms; so I was a bit apprehensive. I haven't even seen or had surgery yet, and Dr Hope is the only surgeon who has accepted to take me on as a patient, after being turned away by numerous surgeons. I have been crying all morning!
