Dr Beer has basically changed my father life from a bed bound cripple suffering such terrible sadness and depression around to a perfectly vibrant, pain free 86 year old with a spring in his step, happy and so well! Ben's professionalism, knowledge and bedside manner is outstanding. Bens surgery has changed my life, for the better! Couldn't recommend him highly enough.
Ben is amazing, after going to several surgeons over the years and told there's nothing we can do, Ben told me that I don't need to live like this. Ben didn't want to do surgery but instead asked if I would be willing to participate in an exercise program to help with the pain. After 6 months I can walk further and do more than I have done in a long time. Yes this is long term and I'll have to work hard to stay out of a wheel chair. Having pain for 18years in SIJ, Doctor Benjamin Bear, is a caring Spine Surgeon, I lived a long distance from Southport, just talking to him on the phone,his compassion for people with cronic pain, told me to have one more quaterzone injection in my SIJ to prove that's where the problem was coming from, it took the pain completely away onely for 2and half weeks, in 2mths l had my appointment for Surgery,and wow what a difference, just over 2weeks, pain in the SIJ 99% almost gone..One of the Best Spine Doctor's, was so blesse... read more
