Hi my name is Debra Morehouse and I am a patient of Dr. Benjamin Dirkx. When I showed up at The Spine Orthopedic Center, I was so concerned I would never enjoy a pain free life again. Dr. Dirkx has been so patient and willing to do what ever it takes to find solid solutions to my spinal problems. I am now enjoying pain free days with strong energy. Dr Dirks was wonderful to me.He was willing to try several Solutions until we found the correct one for me.He is always willing to listen . He never made me feel rushed .I would r commend him to anyone.I am now able to walk without a knee brace or a cane.
He has come to know me a couple years after my initial injury, but still encourages me to ride my horse, and really helps me when I have a set back that might slow me down. I have a lot going on in my life and I can come to him any time and he knows just what to do. We have a good plan put together for the long term, but when strange things happen, he knows just what to do to get me back in the irons, and that is always what's best for my back!
Dr. Dirkx office claims to accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, but that is ONLY for office visits. when it comes to getting epidural injections (right next door in his surgical suite) there's a $750 facility fee just for starters and suddenly the insurance is NOT accepted. His staff are poorly trained with regard to insurance and were totally uninterested in rectifying this issue.

Fantastic bedside manor! Even though he is very busy(for good reason!) he made sure to take the time I needed to explain my shoulder problem and what best options I had for treatment were. I'm going back here for sure next time I get an injury!
So caring! He really took the time to listen to me and go over my options. He's like an orthopedic surgeon but does everything to fix you without surgery!
Dr. Dirkx is very professional, informative and friendly. He has spent a good amount of time going over my condition and answering my questions. I also like his approach to treating my problems; he suggested the most conservative Tx first instead of pushing pills. I would not hesitate to recommend him to my family and friends.
