I think the nurse practitioner is incredibly kind, patient and empathetic. I always feel safe and heard when I see her.
Patient care seems secondary to this doctor's business model, whereby his ability to bill OHIP seems to dictate test requirements as well as prescription refills, all while missing testing that is required. Notoriously bad care at Ingersoll ER, which has followed him to London.
Don’t dare sharing your dissatisfaction with the doctor after they cannot find important details in your medical file or have to wait 17+ months for a referral. Not to mention having to wait multiple weeks for a 20 minute appointment where you can only discuss 1 issue at a time. If you share that you’re dissatisfied they won’t bother to try to improve their services or the relationship they will just drop you as a client. Pick a different doctor in the city to go to.
Dr. Hassani took over from my previous family doctor and with the sometimes difficult task of finding a family Doctor we knew we were going to stay with him. The pleasant surprise is that he is not only knowledgeable about well informed about medicine but also me as a patient. I think he's been doing homework the day before. He and the team he has assembled are looking out for your best. Tests, referrals. Intelligent and friendly.
Dr. Hassani had taken over the practice from my family doctor. To be honest his attention to detail and proactive preventative medicine gave me the kick i needed. He was very quick to refer me to other members on his team. Within weeks I quit smoking and had the support of a full team who were on my side. If you ard looking for a family doctor who actually cares about your health then Dr Hassani would be the right fit for you. Shout out his front office staff, clinical pharmacist, nutritionist and respitory therapist.
