If I could leave him zero stars I would. He did a tendon reassignment about 8 yrs ago, worst decision of my life! My fault for not getting a second opinion. He never even confirmed my tendon issue with an MRI, again my fault for putting all my trust in him and believing everything that he said. He assured me it was the only option and the results would be great. "you won't run marathons..." well I never ran them before so thought this was the right thing to do per my doctor. I trusted him. Dr. Smith just performed ankle replacement on me. He is personable and informative. He's very thorough and did a large number of blood tests on me pre surgery "to cover all the bases" I'm very pleased with his treatment and the work I had done .
Experienced, proffesional, knowledgeable. Perfect pre and post surgery care as well as the surgery itself. Highly recommend. Made a confusing process understandable and navigable. Highly respect Ortho doctor.
