Referred to him for HRT consultation. He was dismissive and told me the brain fog etc I was experiencing had nothing to do with meno. Condescending and old school. As a male dr he really has no idea what he’s talking about and shouldn’t be advising women on these matters. It was such a discouraging and frustrating appointment. Have been dealing with a cryptic pregnancy and thought the one person who would understand would be him. Wrong. Rudest experience. For example, I tried to lay down on my side during my appointment while he was talking (still being attentive) as I’m 34, almost 35 weeks pregnant and very uncomfortable. I am incredibly grateful for the care I received from Dr. Hafazalla during a medical emergency. He was the on-call attending physician when I was brought into emergency and also happened to be my doctor. He performed the surgery that saved my life, and I can’t thank him enough. His professionalism and bedside manner were exceptional — he was kind, calm, and reassuring throughout. I felt truly cared for during one of the most frightening moments of my life.
Although he wasnt my OB. He was the one on shift that delivered my baby. Very friendly Doctor, made me feel good about giving birth. Only reason im giving 4/5 stars is because I was telling him the baby was coming and he didnt quiet believe me that she was coming as fast as she was for it being my first baby. Sure enough I had her in 19 minutes and he ran in with half a gown on and said ok, let her go and I gave birth. She had a cone head because I was holding her in and she wanted out but the Dr wasnt ready.
