Dr Mitchell did discectomy surgery on my lower back in 2018. My back pain is gone but he did Permanent nerve damage. My right foot feels like I’m walking on an electrified golf balls in the back of my heel feels like it’s been burned. It was extremely difficult to walk for months. I couldn’t put my right foot down for more than a few seconds. I have documentation from a Neurologist that states he did nerve damage and it’s permanent. I really wish I had researched before. Dr Bartley Mitchell , is a skilled neurosurgeon . I have suffered tears with spine issues . He preformed a multiple level lamectomy with non instrumental fusion . The pain , other than normal surgical pain was gone immediately . Post surgery pain has been taken care of . I could not be happier with my result . I would recommend him and his nurse practitioner Whitney without hesitation .
