Dr. Hamann kept me from getting my Epilepsy diagnosis for two years. He repeatedly told me that my seizures were actually just anxiety and that it was all in my head. I actually cried after several of our visits. Finally, after all my family hounding me to get a new doctor, within a month my neurologist proved with brain scans that I was having seizure, and I have been on seizure medication since. I still have problems doubting my own intuition for my health because Hamann repeatedly told me my opinion wasn't worth counting.

If I could give this Doctor a -10 review I would. My friend has been struggling with health issues for years and this crock wouldn't listen to anything she had to say. He brushed off all of her serious health concerns to "anxiety" and wouldn't help her to get any tests. She was able to work up the courage to get a second opinion after years of this neglect and was able to find out she has epilepsy and other serious health issues in a short amount of time thanks to her new doctor. I am so glad she is okay, and getting the hel... read more

literally the WORST doctor I have ever seen, this last Sunday I ended up in the ER and was diagnosed with pericarditis. I went in to Mountain View and was scheduled an appointment with Barry hamann only because I needed a post ER visit checkup because I need surgery in a few weeks. Dr. Hamann began to tell me that the ER was completely wrong and that my symptoms have nothing to do with my lungs or heart although when I was at the ER I got a CT, chest X-ray and ECG.he was extremely condescending and try to tell me that I have... read more

Worse Dr. In the world! The man needs his face slapped!...He is a rude jerk! My 91 year old father had a hip replacement and Dr. Hamann would NOT even give him a placard!..On top of that, the Dr. got smart mouthed with my dad. Bottom line is, the guy should find a new profession! He has NO COMPASSION!.....ZERO!

I have been a patient for five + years and always have found him to be a very good physican. He has been super supportive of my weight loss journey and has given me great feedback about various health issues I have been dealing with. He explains the "why" and also helps me understand the pluses and minuses of any given prescription or health issue.
