I share a similar experience to the others on here and what’s most unfortunate is Dr.Baker has been in my family for years and the office was NEVER this bad. It’s a revolving door for interns the doctor and staff have absolutely no bedside manner. The doctor rushes you and does NOT listen to your concerns. You do not receive follow up calls from bloodwork or testing and they do not call to confirm appointments. So if you forget it’s on you! Today August 28, 2025 had an appointment at Dr Baker office and had an excellent day there was a young lady the receptionist by the name of Wilda I was so amazed how wonderful this receptionist was we talked she made me feel comfortable. She always had a smile. She made me laugh. I tell you I don’t see these kind of receptionist employees where I go and today was an excellent day for me because not only her there was another young lady who did a sonogram. had an appointment today Dr. Baker was seen by his physician assistant Mark, who was excellent very polite very nice he makes you feel very comfortable and answering his questions and him answering your questions. There was a young lady by the name of Sofia on who also was very polite. Very soft-spoken gave me my next appointment. Enjoy going to my appointment in this office of Dr. Baker. Doctor is always rushing patients. Does not take the time to sit and listen to them. I called to ask them to refill my prescription and they said they would take care of it. A week later and it was still not filled. I called them back and they said I need to see the doctor first. Why didn’t they call me back to let me know? Why didn’t I have to wait so long? The staff is not doing their job. Needless to say I have since found another doctor.
*Disappointed I made an appointment for my mother who was recently hospitalized is on oxygen and in a wheelchair - I had to coordinate with my sister, she took a day off from work traveled from Medford Long Island to College Point Queens to pick up my mother - paid tolls both ways over the Whitestone bridge to get to Dr. Bakers' office to be notified that he left for the day.
