I met Dr. Fogiel, sadly was told she would be closing her practice in August. I was a new patient and truly love how sweet she was! & very understanding. I mentioned to her regarding my birth control and how I felt like I haven’t lost weight from it (she agreed with me most doctors would disagree! I would not recommend Barbara Fogiel to anyone. She was very judgmental about my birth control choice and it seemed there might be some kind of religious hold up when it came to giving me my birth control. I told her I was concerned about my health on my follow up appointment because I was feeling extremely light headed all the time which was unusual and she told me it was probably “just my period” and said she’d be right back to talk more and run some tests and never came back into the room. Dr Fogeil is the best. She has delivered three of my kids and now is walking me thought perimenopause. I can not say enough about her bedside manner, her ability to listen to her patients. She gives top notch care.
I recently went to Dr. Fogiel for the concern of irregular vaginal bleeding and really heavy period. I had the same concern earlier in the years and had went to my family doctor and another OB/GYN as well and they all thought it may just be pre-menopause. My gut instinct told me it is more than that. Dr. Fogiel was very professional and knowledgeable. She told me all the possibilities that could cause the bleeding. Dr Fogiel is professional, patient, and above all compassionate. Her office is always clean and the staff is very helpful. Dr Fogiel is a great listener and non judgmental. I have referred several friends here.
