Dr. Merrill is a wonderful doctor she is good with all her patient and is good with keeping up with you when you need anything i wouldn't trade her for another doctor i just love her as my doctor.
Zero percent chance I would ever refer even my worst enemy to this practice. You can NEVER EVER get in to see someone there if you have something urgent like bronchitis. I have not been able to make an appointment for that, and I always ended up at a redicare. The last time was just the straw that broke the camel's back. I needed a doctor THEN (Friday), not to hear "the soonest I can get you in is Monday, but I know that won't help you now." So I am done; and their office staff is crap.
Dr. Merrilll never cared for my health or well being. All she did was throw drugs at me (that never changed). After leaving and seeing a new doctor I was informed what she did and didn't do could have had severe consequences. Since then I am am doing much better and life has changed for the positive. She said that would never be possible.
I had a chronic condition for many years. Even after it was diagnosed by others, Dr. Merrill would not accept it. It got to be that I was afraid to mention anything for fear of being labeled a whiner, dismissed, or flat out being talked down to. Or having yet another drug thrown at me rather than address the real issue. But it turned out. I found another Dr.(s), had surgery, much better now. Just wish I had those yers back. Learned how to be a better advocate for myself.
I was a pacient of hers for many years and instead of trying to figure out what was wrong with me and get the proper test done she kept perscribing me more and more things and it took a huge toll. It was not until I left her practice that I was properly diagnosed and live a completely different life now. She has a huge ego and does not listen to her pacients. If you make an appointment you better be ready to sit 1-3 hours for it. I had numerous times. So glad I left her as my doctor.
Had to wait an hour for the 1st appointment. After meeting Dr. Merrill & the time she took with me, I'd wait 2 hours for her. I've never had a doctor take such time to listen to my medical history & give me detailed explanations. I feel a great deal of trust & confidence in establishing Dr. Merrill as my new doctor.
