Though less personable than my previous neurologist, Dr. Thankappan has helped me quite a bit over the past year. With my old neurologist I felt like I was in the driver's seat and had me making uneducated decisions, but Dr. Thankappan has been much better at guiding me and giving advice that he thinks is the right decision.
Totally agree with review from 2016. He is still way more interested in talking than in listening.
I had the worst experience of my life with Dr Thankappan. He called me and told me I have STD, but I knew that's impossible. So I requested to be tested again. But I had to wait 10 days for a redo, of course the worste 10 days of my life. The result of the 2nd test was negative and Dr Thankappan never bothered to tell me the good news though, what a shame!!
Dr. Thankappan is thorough, patient and kind and his office staff are fantastic too!
He was more interested in talking than listening.
