Was referred to a different office by our regular eye exam Dr. and when I called to make an apt. the receptionist was rude and un welcoming. I took my mother to Dr.Shabatian and was met by very polite and cheerful receptionist. We were called back to the exam room within10 minutes. The technician was extremely professional and polite and explained everything that she was testing to my mom. Shortly after the doctor came in, introduced himself and started to examine my mom’s eyes, as well as going over all the data that was compiled by the technician. My 17-year old daughter has amblyopia, strabismus, and an astigmatism. Due to no insurance for years, she's only been able to see optometrists since she was young and finished patching. We were directed by her PCP to get with an Ophthalmologist to check and ease my daughter's mind that her vision hadn't changed, as well as inquiring about surgery or any help with correcting her lazy eye.
