I had an incredibly invalidating and negative experience with Dr. Justin Cheung, as did my mother. Dr. Cheung diagnosed me with functional dyspepsia, epigastric pain syndrome, 14 years ago. He told me there was nothing he could do for me, and acted like I was a nuisance for bothering him with a problem that is “in my head”. He should have referred me to a neurogastroenterologist who understands this condition, but instead he left me with no further steps or referrals.
