I called to schedule an appointment with Dr. Shah for my husband. I was told his nurse would have to verify his insurance prior to scheduling. No problem. The next day, Rhonda, his nurse, called and gathered the insurance information and said she would call back. Another day later, she called, saying he was verified and would schedule his appointment. The reception is hateful. I called to see if they were taking new patients and she was very rude and hateful. When I told her it was for my husband and he had champva she asked several unnecessary questions about the Va. I explained to her I am the veteran and I have a different insurance which wasn’t really her business but I told her Champva is for spouses. I have seen Dr. Shah for years. He is caring and very well informed. I am comfortable talking with him and he listens.
Tried to make an appointment as a new patient. Rudest person I have dealt with in a long time!
