I want to share my experience of discrimination at the office of Dr. Nirmala Aryal, MD, FAAN. On September 19, 2025, I accompanied my father, who is being tested for dementia, to his appointment because I have POA. I use a trained service dog, and at the end of the visit Dr. Aryal told me that for any future visits I would have to leave my service dog outside because of “office regulation” and because patients “complain” or “have allergies.” This is illegal under the ADA and discriminatory. I went to this neurologist expecting a way to relieve my painful migraines and they were not very helpful. I was just given prescriptions for things that did not work and they kept pushing off the medications I requested.

Dr. Aryal Nirmala is very incompetent and will write you a series of prescriptions that will do nothing. I went there for 5 months and she did not get to a resolution for my issue. I was in hopes of a diagnosis but got nothing but medications that I'm sure the insurance company is paying her to prescribe to me.

Doctor is good, but the office staff is irresponsible and not given my referral even after 1 week. And proper response is not given when called to office. Its urgent and they are delaying without proper response. They called me on urgent basis to inform the problem. But the staff is not yet provided proper documentation for referral to pulmonology.
