Both my Father (patient) and myself his Son has requested medical files be sent to another hospital who has followed the directions and requested by fax all medical documentation for a second opinion and Dr. Kumar has refused to send the files after repeated attempts. This Dr. has extremely poor social and communication skills, gets visibly upset when you ask questions or agitated when you refuse what he wants to prescribe due to side effects. Highly recommend not seeing this Dr.

I made an appointment with Dr Kumar more than 3 weeks ago. They said they would send me the new patient paperwork by email. They never sent it and my appointment was tomorrow. I called this morning and was told that they would send the paperwork. They did not. This is not a good start. Each time I called the person that answered sounded very stressed out. I canceled my appointment. I don't need the headache.

Uneducated office staff, goes by the name of China, who can't properly send a referral for tests and actually asks me to call for my own referrals which should be her job. She even lied to me and said the referral was received by someone. I called the place and they said they don't even have a person by that name working there. I went to the office to confront them and they came up with the excuse that the place doesn't take my insurance. Dr Kumar is not a nice man. I went to him because I was suffering from aphasia. He never once asked me my symptoms. He ordered a brain scan and dismissed me for 3 months. At my next appointment he put me on Donepezil (used in treating dimentia). I asked him what was causing my aphasia and he replied, as he was dismissing me, we'll wait and see how you do on the drug.
