Dr Lebowitz was my internist for several years, but then when I couldn’t afford to pay extra for Concorde he dumped me, which might have been okay except when I wound up in the hospital with a dramatic life threatening illness, he refused to consult with my emergency room physicians. What’s more a few years later, I heard he trashed me for being unemployed to the fellow who had introduced us! So I don’t know how this squares with the Hippocratic oath but I for one will always be disgusted with his behavior!
