Too aggressive for our taste. Our two encounters were hurried and ultimately led us to a different path, thank God as the results would have been potentially catastrophic.
Dr. Liu is exceptionally knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. Spends more time than expected with patients and answers all questions every visit. Treats child as individual but never ignores parent's needs. Offered referrals for supportive treatments (nutrition, social support) and life-enhancing activities. Clearly cares about his patients. Collaborates with other members of patient's health care team, even when located outside TCH/UCHSC. Positive, upbeat and hopeful approach is so encouraging!!
Helped us understand what the risks and rewards of radiation for our daughter would be. Very professional. Answers questions truthfully.
