Went to see him after emergency visit of impaction. He asked why I wasn't on a certain medication for the type of constipation I have. I stated that I could take it but found out I need a preauthorization for it and told him so. Instead of helping me with that, he told me to keep taking a bottle a day of magnesium citrate every day until I go back to emergency for impaction. Dr. Newman is the WORST doctor I've ever seen. The office is WORSE. Let me explain... Before I saw Dr. Newman, I had recently had surgery on my stomach- I had not gone to the bathroom for ten days after my surgery. I had cramps . I was in the hospital. Dr. Newman told me to take IBgard (Peppermint Oil). He gave me two samples. Dr Newman never told me to follow up with him. My surgeon was shocked Dr. Newman told me to take peppermint oil. Dr. Newman has performed two colonoscopies for me and has been caring and professional with a sense of humor about all my questions. Highly recommend
Called office to let them know I was stuck in traffic and would be a few minutes late. No answer, voice mail. Arrived to find the front door to their building locked (it’s 3:45pm). Called again, voice mail. Sign says go to building next door. Building next door says sign is wrong and I have to go to the hospital main entrance a quarter mile away and walk back. I came to Dr. Newman after my ENT diagnosed me with LPR. He was very caring when he discussed my symptoms. He also performed an endoscopy and was very punctual to call me with the results of the pathology. He changed my medicine accordingly and told me to follow up as needed.
