As a dental professional, of 10+ years, I highly recommend Dr. Shaikh! I had my first visit yesterday, trust me I am particular about my dentist. I didn’t once feel rushed, she addressed all of my concerns, & I believe her to be quite thorough. I’ve had experiences in the area with dentists who are all about up charging, scamming, and trying to get extra money from patients who don’t understand, billing codes, and dental practices. Maya front desk so rude !!!! she must be fired
Took my kids to the dentist today — the doctor was a wonderful woman, very kind and professional. I also really liked the staff — friendly and welcoming!
Dr. Arifa's was the only office within my area that was accepting new patients with Medi-Cal insurance and had good reviews on google. So I made an appointment to get a cleaning. Long story short- I will not go back to them. First, they used the "bitewing" style to take xrays which was very uncomfortable as the hygienist was jabbing my gums with those things that you bite down on. Dr. Arifa is great as well as her assistant! However, Maya at the front desk needs some customer service lessons. A good place to begin is listening and not interrupting the person on the other side of the phone.
