I went to two neurologists before I found Dr. Melcher and he's the one that has helped me! He's easygoing and easy to talk to. I never feel rushed. He takes his time, explains things well, and makes you feel at ease. Great bedside manner. Great doctor. So grateful I found him.
Saved my daughters life. No one knew what was wrong with her and told us the only option was hospice. He kept testing and hung in there and she was able to recover. He was a God send for us

I had been suffering from periods of dizziness and passing out. No one could figure out what was wrong but when Dr. Melcher got involved he discovered the problem and the solution. This had been going on for several months and he got it done quickly. Wonderful doctor and spends much time with me on every visit to make sure I understand everything completely.
This doctor is the reason I am alive today. His diagnosis of G.B.S and placing me in ICU saved my life.

In responce to Karen D's review, I reviewed all patients seen by my group in the office since 2011. I have not seen a patient named Karen D. I have been practicing neurology for 24 years and pride myself in being very confident in practicing the art of medicine, in taking a detailed history and conducting a detailed neurologic examination, and in explaining my impression and plan of care to all patients. I never rush my patients. I am on the list of Best Doctors in New Orleans and in Louisiana.
