I've been going to Dr. April for many years. She is always polite and professional. I have had a lot of doctors in my life because I lost both my kidneys & was on dialysis for nearly 13 years. I have a rare kidney disease & she knew exactly what it was. I finally got a kidney transplant in 2018. Dr. April always makes sure that whatever I take won't hurt my kidney or have any interactions with all the meds I'm already on. I HIGHLY recommend her.
Everyone was very friendly. Did not feel rushed at all. She took the time to listen and ask questions to get a better picture of what was going on.
Terrible experience. It took almost 4 months to get an appointment. I do not think they want new patients, although listed as taking new patients on this site. Had lab work done in office, labs came just over on the lower range of normal. According to other data I found, I was below normal depending on the lab conducting the test. I did get to speak to a nurse, but no response from the doctor and was informed I would not get my so needed prescription I have taken for years. April Ponder MD is excellent. She answers all my questions, takes whatever time is needed. I have already referred 2 people.

I was very pleased with her proffesional manner and knowledge. She was very caring and asked me questions without using language that I did not understand
