This doctor does not listen to my family's concerns or anything that is troubling me regarding my mother's care. She is hard-headed and what she says goes, we are not allowed to ask questions. All these other reviews seem staged because I have experience the opposite with her.
Dr. Thopu, visited us in the ICU in Racine, Wisconsin, as an intensivist. Her knowledge, experience, and credentials are extraordinary! But, the remarkable interaction we had with her, on an emotional level, was what stands out! She had no notes, laptop or assisting personnel with her, yet she knew everything about my husband~her patient. She acknowledged how devastating it must have been for my husband, when he was transferred to Intensive Care at 0200! My love and gratitude for Dr Thopu is beyond words! Her evaluation and re- evacuation of my medical needs saved me from a lengthy hospitalization and unnecessary procedures. She made me feel as if I was the only patient She was caring for - while I know she had many patients far sicker I feel blessed to have had her care and would strongly recommend her to all The world of pulmonologists is a better place with her in it- and so our all of the lives that depend upon her
Best Doctor I've ever meet. My mother came to her deathly ill. Left the hospital 2 weeks later because of the care of Dr. Thopu. She took her time to explain her reasoning of diagnosis and shared her care and concerns from a interpersonal level. Highly reccomend!
