Other patient reviews call Dr. Patel “honest,” “compassionate,” “moral” and “kind.” I agree with all. But in addition to his decency, I chose Dr. Patel for his smarts and his unique surgical technique for relieving thumb joint arthritis. I was referred to Dr Anup Patel MD by one of his partners at Orlando Hand Surgery Associates and met him for the first time the day of surgery. He spoke with me prior to the surgery and eased my fears about the procedure and follow up care. He explained to me that he also did plastic surgery and the surgical incision would be less prominent. Dr. Patel was friendly and businesslike. He presented my options, which,unfortunately weren’t what I was hoping for. He did not encourage surgery which would not have met my goals.

Orlando Hand Surgery Assoc in Lady Lakes is very clean and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Dr Patel was also very pleasant and efficient. I am new to living in Florida so this was my 1st appointment. Once I filled out the information needed on their iPad I was taken in for x-rays and brought to the exam room. As soon as I sat down Dr Patel came right in (talk about efficiency). I highly recommend them.

Today was my first time seeing Dr A. Patel. Great experience from the office staff to the doctor. Dr Patel was very helpful not only with my hand problem but also with another pain issue I am having. I would not hesitate to refer anyone with hand issues to Dr Patel.
