Do not and I repeat DO NOT go to Dr. Dua. I cant remain silent any longer. In 2015 he talked me into having my gallbladder removed lying to me that it was an emergency or I would suffer from severe health consequences. He didn’t offer up any other options. All I had was pain on my right side, but I believed him cause he was a “Dr” now I know why he said what he said, I spent 25 years in the military and had great insurance. Great experience given the situation. Dr. Dua is very knowledgable and professional. The staff was great also. The whole team at Northside was tremendous. Definitely recommend

I was assigned to Dr. Dua's office to deal with a surgical drain placed during my stay at Northside Hospital. Unfortunately, I've only gotten the run-around form this office and nearly three weeks later, my surgical drain has received no service. Despite being referred by northside, his office has done nothing to provide even the most basic level of care to ensure my safety and well-being. I ended up needing an emergency appendectomy at Northside Cherokee hospital the morning after Christmas. I didn’t get to pick my surgeon, but I completely lucked out ending up with Dr. Dua as my surgeon. He was straightforward and answered all my questions before surgery, as well as called me right back after hours for a concern about one of my incisions, which ended up being fine. He is good at what he does, and if you have to have surgery, he’s a good doctor to have.
