I went for a consult about my broken arm. Their website clearly states the consult fee with an x-ray is $500 for patients that are cash pay/no insurance. Other orthopedic offices I called were $225-$275, but this office included an x-ray, so I scheduled an appointment. I spent ten minutes speaking with the doctor. No x-ray was taken. Knowing that most insurance contract rates/R & C for a consult is between $150-$250, I requested an x-ray taken at at no charge at my follow-up, since that is what they told me.
