For anyone who wants to insert or get a removal for an IUD never see this doctor. I told the doctor that after eight months of continuous bleeding I need to get this removed and when she was trying to she was so impatient that she just gave up infront of me and my partner and said “it’s okay if I can’t see the iud it’s in the right place.” I got an ultrasound and it was confirmed that my IUD was sitting at the cervix (not in the right place). I am so grateful to have had Dr. Mahadik as my obstetrician for the birth of my second baby. After a very ambivalent experience with my first delivery in a public hospital, I was nervous about going through it all again, but Dr. Mahadik completely changed that for me. From the very first appointment, she was patient and genuinely caring. A special mention also goes to Amanda, who was always warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my pregnancy. My delivery was a positive and empowering experience thanks to this amazing team.
