I became Dr Bermans patient when I was in The Emergency Room at Moore Regional Hospital. I had lost all circulation in my left leg , and I needed to go to the Operating Room.. Initally he wanted to amputate and I would not agree to it. He respected my wishes . The Reid Heart Center had just opened and it was evening so nobody was having surgery . Physicians and staff are awesome. However, I was overcharged. My EOB clearly stated the amount I was responsible for and it was less than I was billed. I spent countless hours trying to resolve. My insurance company tried to contact the claims department but never received a call back. I paid the amount they said I owed because they threatened collections proceedings. Very disappointing that this is they way they do business.

I am having severe swelling 2 years post opt after having a total knee replacement... I know this isn't normal and Dr Conti who i thought after reading reviews i have found seems unconcerned..i travel to come to Pinehurst thinking services there were better but they aren't...I thought knee replacement was suppose to make my condition better but it is worse than before surgery..Dr Conti shows no concern or solution for me at all.. My healthcare provider sent a referral for varicose vein treatment on May 6,2023. 10 days later on May 15, I had not heard from them. I called the Laurinburg office on May 12 to ask about an appointment and that never called me back. I called the Pinehurst office on May 15 and the lady told me that she would call the Laurinburg office to find out what was going on, I still haven’t heard from anyone. I am done with Pinehurst Surgical.
