Absolutely unacceptable these past two years. I have been a patient for over 15 years but recently this office has screwed up my blood work more than once, the PA is rude, appointments are impossible to get, the office is a confused mess, and it is next to impossible to get in touch with Dr. Scappaticci to discuss my current medical issues. I need a new doctor.
My husband is a new patient. He was prescribed his regular blood pressure and thyroid medications. After more than one week his thyroid medication was refilled at the wrong pharmacy. He still has not gotten even a call back regarding his blood pressure medication. He has literally called the office and the pharmacy daily for almost two weeks. I have been coming to this place for 20 years. Many times I have had to wait for 30 or more minutes due to double booking or the doctors running behind. Today I showed up 10 minutes late and was asked to reschedule as a result. There was 1 other person in the office. I asked why and was told, because its policy. There is no helping the little guy anymore and it's sad. Hopefully the system changes and this office is a little nicer to its patients.
I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone looking for an excellent dr ! I live in Watertown and my old primary care dr was so bad ! I was always feeling sick and she never diagnosed me with anything. I was referred to this practice and thank God I made an appointment with them. My triglycerides were 1276! I was a walking heart attack! My A1C was 10 and my sugar was at 300!! They were able to get my cholesterol into a safe number and my A1C is now 6.4 and my sugar reads at 125.
