Saw Dr. Sella in 2021 for a torn plantar plate and he also recommended gastocnemius release to allow more range of motion of foot. Nice doctor, with pleasant personality, knowledgabIe and caring. I felt comfortable with his explaining of surgery procedure. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as I'd (we'd) hoped. Post surgery I ended up with a deviated second toe and there was nerve damage from the gastrocnemius procedure. Dr. Sella gave me relief, insights, and ongoing hope after he analyzed my right foot and a growing, painful inability to walk the past 7-8 months. He was personable, understanding and caring and knew exactly the next steps for me! I experienced relief and hope that same day and increasingly within a couple days. I am now able to walk normally and to exercise on my treadmill again! I recommend Dr. Sella highly!
