I saw Dr Wilson today for the first time. I found him lovely, very approachable and understanding about my pain. Made suggestions about managing for the next several months, and was honest and forthright about my options. I value being treated with honesty and having things explained to me, but he kept telling me it’s was just a suggestion and his opinion (which I took), the reception staff although busy were lovely. My sincerest thanks to you all!
Well what can I say, the only surgeon that has treated me with respect. Honesty and integrity, and his surgical team at St Vincents Hospital,Toowoomba. The after care in the ward, was above and beyond. If If I was to Have anymore surgeries Dr Anthony Wilson is the only man that I would let operate on me with full confidence.
Not friendly at all. No eye contact. Gruff and abrupt. Not understanding of how much pain I am in. Not interested in my condition just said it can be difficult to treat. Felt as if I as a nuisance to him. Maybe he is used to dealing with bigger problems than mine but I am still a paying patient of his and deserved better. Gave me a cortisone injection which hurt more than giving birth. No explanation about injection and how it works. No sympathy from him at all. Was crying with pain but he didn't seem to care.
