doctor does make you have procedure that you donot want, and he will cut your pain meds, he's only interested in that insurance payment!!
Doctor only interested in doing procedures. Threatened to take away pain meds if I didn't have a procedure done. You can't see him in an office visit. You only see the PA. He has a different PA every year. The staff changes on a regular basis. Doctor had a temper tantrum in the middle of the hallway yelling at his incompetent staff.
It took then a while, but they've now got a P.A. who helps the doctor. She now gives out medication, and will increase your meds if not working properly. It no longer takes 2 to 3 hours. Yes the injections hurt but what shot doesn't the relief afterwards is well worth a few minutes of pain. I have seen major improvements there in the past year. They have had a turn over several times in the staff. But the nurse's have been pretty much the same.
The problem I have that whenvr you go in for a medication check appt. you basically see a nurse. She asks you how your pain level is then sends you on your way with your RX. If you have a problem with your medication(Not working effectively, etc), the nurse states that she/he will hsve to consult the doctor and you'll have to make another appt. Isn't that the whole purpose of going to see him anyway? also, the staff changes on a monthly basis, eveytime I go, there are new faces(nurses, receptionists, etc.) Makes me wonder wh... read more
It is not unusual to wait 2 to 3 hours for your appointment. Front office staff not friendly or helpful. Bedside manner is ok and he seems to be knowledgeable.
