I went to this Doctor Anthony Smith for an IME as requested by EML. This doctor will ruin your claim for the sake of more work from the insurance company. He will cut you off and not let you finish your answer and then expect you to answer his questions about medical operations as if you are a doctor. I saw this doctor for an IME review. During my examination he repeatedly cut me off and would not allow me to give him all the information on my injuries. His physical examination was painful, i felt he pushed me beyond my pain limits whilst taking measurements. When I cried out in pain his response gave me the impression he felt I was putting it on. I have been battling for 14 months against the insurer so I have moved on to have surgery on my left hand twice now (one at my expense). I have another surgery to my right hand ... read more
Dr Smith well we're do I start.I had a work accident and the break was put at 10 per cent totally impairment.Since then I've had 2 other operations by 2 of Australia's best surgeons. Even thought Dr Smith never operated on me never seen me the insurance company icare sent me to see him he gave me 3 per cent the original break was 10%. Please people stay away from this man he will ruin your life. Keep an eye on A Current Affair you will see him soon . My appointment lasted all of 7 minutes, in this time he managed to make it clear he didn’t like the fact I was Greek. He kept grunting as if he was disgusted, I had to ask more than once if I could put my clothes back on which I also received a grunt again, asked the question how it happened which you start to explain and he cuts you off and try’s to adjust your story.The report he had wrote about me is basically saying I’m lying.
