everything went great for my procedures here ,very professional and all that i needed to know before and after surgery was explained to me very well from receptionist and dr.poon himself ,felt very comfortable in their care . but ...if i would have realized the discomfort and healing was alot for my age and existing health issues , i would have only scheduled for either top or bottom surgery that time and after healing get the other done .too much at once , this is just my opinion on decision to do both at same ,nothing to d... read more
Got all four wisdom teeth out (Aug 13), he went on vacation without warning me. Got a severe infection tried calling plenty of times, no answer. Finally got an answer, a week later and got prescribed 1 week of antibiotics. Infection cleared, but the procedure was done so poorly I’m still in pain in the extraction sites (Oct 22). If you have to wait months or even years, to go ANYWHERE else, just wait.

I had a great experience getting my wisdom teeth removed with Dr. Poon. My appointment started right on time at 10:30 — no delays. Dr. Poon was very efficient and made sure I was fully numb with dental freezing before starting. I didn’t feel any pain during the procedure, and the extraction took about 5-10 minutes, closer to 5. I took a client to this dentist, I found Dr. Poon to be very pleasant, caring, did not at all feel rushed. He took the time to explain, but not over explain. Tried to put my client at ease, knowing she was very nervous. I would 100% recommend this dentist. Amanda the secretary was most helpful. I was quit impressed with her efficiency, she took the time to explain everything to my client with just the right amount of caring and professionalism.
