I saw Caruso after a CT showed a tumor in my right kidney. Caruso went in and determined I needed my kidney removed. And my diagnosis was clear cell Renal Cell Carcinoma. His terrible bedside manner push me to find another doctor. He miss diagnosed my cancer and the kidney did not need removed. During my followup I also needed to have a Stent removed that was installed during the procedure. This was a very very uncomfortable procedure done in office without any pain meds. I had a large kidney stone stuck in my right ureter during pregnancy. It was causing hydronephrosus. His recommendation was that I get a nephrostomy bag. I felt that was the wrong course of action considering my pregnancy (I was 28 weeks) - I told him I didn't feel safe doing it. He eventually called me at home to try to talk me into it and guilted me by telling me I would kill my child if I didn't have the procedure done.
