I have been a patient of Dr. Meier for many years. He is the most caring and concerned doctor I have ever had. He always spends as much time as it takes to help me understand my issues and gives me lengthy explanations for everything. He explains any medication he gives me and does not get upset when I ask questions about my prescriptions or his diagnosis or his treatment. I am a doctor, and Dr Meier is my doctor. He’s the best.
I found Dr. Meier's method of practice quite archaic and overly authoritative. He seemed to operate under the assumption that patients should be compliant and not question the doctor's authority. This rigid approach sharply contrasted with the patient-involved treatment I was used to. Dr. Meier dismissed the importance of my journey in managing a chronic condition, abruptly deciding to halt a key medication and oversimplifying the condition as a mere choice.
