Do not recommend going here at all. Dr is arrogant, acts entitled, and super quick to be judgmental. In his first 15-20 minutes of the appointment he acted like he’s an expert on the patients entire 18yr medical history and referenced another Dr specialist we use as they don’t know what they are doing. When confronted for his unacceptable behavior, disrespect towards patient and mother, and other specialist Doctor he continued to interrupt, be rude, and try to defend/justify himself. A one star is too good for Dr. Anthony Kawa! A friend who works in cardiology recommended Dr. Kawa, I sought treatment with him in early 2023,I was having difficulty breathing, and a rapid heart rate upon exertion. He prescribed blood pressure medication, and cholesterol medication without even running blood tests. After a series of diagnostic testing, He could not come up with a firm diagnosis. I’d give him zero if I could. I saw him during a hospital stay. I had gone into the ER with chest pain When he came in to assess my condition, he ripped open the curtain to my room, flipped on all the lights, and entered without so much as a knock or a hello His bedside manner is non-existent, he peacocks for his residents, and his sizism is beyond apparent. One of the most down to earth doctors you will meet. Extremely knowledgeable but delivers in a way that is easy to understand. Lives in the real world.
Very thorough, and listens to what you tell him. The part l liked the most is getting a written summary of my visit. Makes it very easy to pass info to other doctors or family members without having to rely on total recall. His staff is equally pleasant to work with.
