Dr Romero is an amazing surgeon and very personable physician. He did a surgery to repair my hip tendon and I am very pleased with the results. Him and his staff are helping me through the process and truly appreciate to have their support in coordinating appointments timely. While other 4 physicians failed to recognize the problem, he was prompt to diagnose it even prior to the result of the MRI. Highly recommended to anyone that needs an orthopedic surgeon. He also speaks Spanish.
Dr Romero has a great personality and is clearly skilled. I had cartilage surgery on my knee and it turned out very successful. Dr Romero is very informative about every step of the process. His PA Daniel is an amazing guy as well. Daniel assisted in surgery and gave me three follow-up injections. He is unfailingly cheerful. Office ladies Melanie & Lara are friendly and helpful. Three thumbs up for this place! Thanks, Robert
Dr. Romero is great. Knowledgeable, warm and takes his time answering all your questions. But then there is his office staff who are unresponsive and unhelpful. Doctor prescribed an MRI over a month ago and I cannot get a call back from his office. His assistant said the imagining center would take care of my insurance pre-auth and but the imagining center says it's up to the doctors office to get insurance approval. His assistant only takes voice mail messages and never returns calls.
Mom fell on thanksgiving day 11/24/2016 and had emergency partial Hip replacement the next day by Dr. Anthony Romero, MD. After surgery and rehab. she was able to walk some, but was having severe pain. A few weeks later the pain became so bad that she was unable to walk and now has been stuck in a wheelchair for many month pending a new surgery scheduled 8/14/2017 for a total hip replacement and repair of a femur fixture. Avoid this doctor if possible.
Dr. Romero did a total hip replacement in 2012. His skills are excellent and I am walking again. He is a wonderful surgeon and he really cares about his patients. I can walk again!! Hooray! I am really impressed with his surgical skills and knowledge. I would recommend that anyone needing any kind of hip replacement go to him for evaluation and surgery if required. Recently, May 31, 2016 he did a rotator and tendon repair to my shoulder. As usual, his skills are second to none. He is the best!!
