I was excited that I was going to have an AA woman deliver my baby and give me prenatal care. The moment I told her I would have a doula I saw her roll her eyes. Also I was a perfect candidate for a Vbac and after I even signed the papers she tried to scare me into saying I wanted a c section after I kept saying I did not want one. I called twice in May 2022, hoping to find a African/Black American Gyn near me. The call went to the answering machine so I left a detailed message. It was before memorial Day. Two weeks later, I had heard nothing. So, I tried calling again. I was sent straight to the voicemail again. I left a second msg. No one ever returned my call. I was very disappointed.☹️ .
