I was reluctant to have surgery and wanted to make sure I found a board certified hand surgeon that made me feel comfortable proceeding with surgery. I met with Dr. Billings and in a brief office visit I knew I found my surgeon. Dr. Billings is so knowledgeable and confident that I did not hesitate to schedule surgery. what a waste of time. I called last week to make an appointment with Dr. Billings and spoke to the front desk. I booked an appointment and then I asked the front desk person to check and confirm my insurance coverage. I gave her my insurance information I have Blue Shield Silver PPO when I got to office and filled out my paperwork Gave her my insurance card and they told me that they do not take my insurance Because it is a plan through covered California, even though it is a blue Shield PPO.
