My appointment with Dr. Tan is at 11am today. I phoned the receptionist that I was running late about 30 minutes. I said I’m happy to wait to see if Dr Tan could fit me in between this afternoon. And she agreed on the phone. Once I arrived, the receptionist told me that she had asked the doctor who could not see me today. The receptionist knew I was on the way but she didn’t buzz me to save my trip down to the clinic. Not professional at all. I don’t think the receptionist represents nicely at this job role.
