If there was zero stars that’s what I would give . Doc mc stuffins dismissed my daughter’s symptoms didn’t listen nor care oh its in your head no tests were done not even an examination just a teenage girl doing it to herself .Therefore other so called professional colleagues of hers agreed , fed up found a reputable gastro 1st visit a proper diagnosis (what we assumed all along ) within 20 days in hospital surgery done nutrition started . Would not recommend at all . Does not care about patients
I agree with the earlier posts on this site. I would give zero stars if it was an option. This Dr is known for gaslighting patients, downplaying symptoms, not doing necessary testing and making patients believe that having abnormal blood or stool tests is normal. Save your money and time and see another doctor.
Dr magoffin dismissed my condition as in my head and not real even tho I had lost 20 kg in a month and had been in and out of hospital for iv fluids and iv electrolytes replacement if you’re looking for an anxiety diagnosis come here actual your help with your childs gut issues do not come here!!
If you're after slow, unreliable and delayed care then this is the place. We changed specialists after seeing Dr Macgoffin for a year plus and couldn't be happier. She didn't investigate until my child was indescribably unwell even though blood test markers were evidently abnormal. Even after diagnosis the care was slow, strained and there didn't seem to be a need of urgency. No stars really. Dr Magoffin will ignore adverse blood tests of your children, like low Ferritin and will let your child suffer with preventable low Ferritin symptoms for several years, until they stop functioning and are unable to attend school. This is despite GP's being easily able to confirm that ongoing symptoms like ongoing gut pain & iron deficiency indicate a malabsorption and/or internal loss issue.
