I saw Dr. Ludwick several months ago for my severe fibromyalgia, in hopes she would take over the tramadol regimen my psychiatrist had started for me and continue making improvements to my care. She refused to prescribe "any pain medication". I wasn't requesting anything major, and was open to the idea of trying things like muscle relaxants, but she didn't even mention such. Dr. Lake is an extemeery caring and generally very knowledgeable physician, but First Choice Healthcare is a fifth-rate, bottom-of-the-barrel clinic. The only reason anybody would ever go to First Choice is because they have no money, and that's the best they can get with no money. I'd rank her very high if she worked somewhere else, but as it is, well, on the whole, being a First Choice patient is something of a nightmare. Staff barely competent to do even the simplest things, bogged down in bureaucratic red tape, etc.
I like Dr. Lake. She's really knowledgeable and really believes in helping her patient.
