I don't usually make reviews on anything, however I want to warn people about how terrible dr Ann French is. I saw her for around a year for my migraines, and in that time she did not help a single bit. She prescribed me Lamotrigine which did not work at all, however she just told me to keep increasing the dose. (Which still didn't work) and when I suggested the idea of botox, which I have heard amazing things about, she shut the idea down immediately and told me I need to try numerous medications first, even though I had al... read more
I saw Dr French during a very difficult time in my life, and unfortunately, my experience with her only made things harder. I found her dismissive and unnecessarily harsh, which left me feeling worse rather than supported. I agree with the other reviews. I cannot recommend her as a neurologist and would urge others to find someone who treats their patients with empathy and respect.

I would not recommend Dr Ann French based on my experience. Her narrow approach resulted in a lack of effective treatment and contributed to my condition becoming chronic. I found her manner unsympathetic and impersonal, and she often came across as arrogant and condescending, which made it very difficult to feel supported. I first saw Dr French four years ago for migraine. At that time I was presented with a wide range of options but I left without being given any tailored plan of action. My GP recently suggested I go back to see her and I was horrified to find that she wanted to charge me the exorbitant fee for a new patient despite it being a continuation for the same migraine issue. I feel her top priority is not on patient wellbeing.
