I visited Dr Allen recently for a difficult wisdom tooth extraction something I certainly wasn't looking forward to. I needn't have worried as the procedure and follow up care was excellent from both Dr Allen and his Nurse..Everything was explained in detail and has healed perfectly. I had two impacted wisdom teeth out by Dr Richard Allen. He did a fantastic job, and my recovery was very smooth. He is not in any way comforting though, so if that's something you need in the seat, I would go elsewhere. My regular dentist has the full comfort experience, TV on the wall, head phones with music, the dental assistant holds my hand (ha ha!) when the injection goes in etc. Here it was sit down, get the job done and off you go.
I am a Dentist and refer difficult cases to these specialists because they are competent.
I met Dr Allen after putting off Wisdom removal for 27 years, and was immediately put at ease. He was very thorough with his discussion of the procedure, pros and cons, and took the time to answer my questions, including giving examples from his vast experience. Dr Allen is knowledgeable and efficient, yet remains friendly and caring.
