Dr. Fu has been my family doctor since she opened her practice. She will cut through the nonsense and may seem to dismiss you but she's on the ball (she digests what my concerns are, diagnose, and Dr Fu will do the appropriate procedures). In these days of health budget calls and cost, she'll do the right thing for you. She takes the time to see make sure that all issues are covered. It's hard to get a family doctor that will do that. Male receptionist made me hold for 10mins, called back and told him what happened and he just dismissed me. Why are the people answering from that place so rude????
I found out via my elderly mother's Community Health Nurse that Dr. Fu had dropped her as a patient. My mother is suffering from a number of health conditions, and losing her GP at such a critical juncture is deeply troubling. Not to mention, we did not receive any formal notice from Dr. Fu, nor her office, which is shocking and completely unprofessional. I will be filing an official complaint with the BC College of Physicians & Surgeons.
