One of the worst doctor's visits I've ever had. I left questioning how this person even got through medical school. He was abrasive and condescending and told me he couldn't help me since I was leaving for a trip the next day (I had made an urgent appointment to see someone because I wasn't feeling well). His 'diagnosis' was something that was physically impossible. Then proceeded to direct me to make a follow up appointment that when I went to it the doctors told me I didn't need before they even did an exam. When he called... read more
Dr. Gullapalli was my PCP for several years. He is knowledgeable, professional and personable. My medical concerns were consistently met with competence, patience and care. Since we moved out of state in 2017, my spouse and I still occasionally comment that miss Dr. Gullapalli. Thank you Dr. G!
I have no doubt he's generally highly competent but he can't communicate with patients and has an condescending abrasive manner and is not at all forthcoming with information. Almost every visit I've found myself outside not really sure what just happened or what his diagnosis is, kicking myself for not pushing for information, but somehow he just dismisses you and before you know it you're out of there. Then later I piece it together or get some other communication and realize some passing word or phrase was key. Twice I've... read more
Not sure where all these good reviews came from. I relied on them in making my decision and regret it. This was my worst experience with a PCP, ever. I don’t want to go into further detail for fear of being identified, but I left this meeting with incorrect information in my file, having to repeatedly ask for the referrals I’d requested, and in tears after insensitive comments. Maybe good if you’re used to incompetency.
Dr. Gullapalli has been my PCP for the past few years now, and I can confidently say he is one of the best. I have had a myriad of puzzling and strange health issues over the past few years, and Dr. Gullapalli has been instrumental in getting to the bottom of what was going on. His best qualities are his breadth of medical knowledge and the level of concern he has for you as a patient. No symptoms or issues are too small - if you are concerned, so is he.
Dr. Gullapalli is a wonderful, caring physician. Years ago, I was initially concerned that I had been assigned such a young physician (at the time). But Dr. G. has now been my primary doctor for six or seven years, and he's the best doctor I've ever had. He's an excellent listener, someone who clearly cares about his patients. He takes even minor complaints seriously, and is methodical and thorough when diagnosing a problem. Finally, he's just a great guy--kind, personable, gentle. Tops.
Dr. Anil Gullapalli has a 3.6 star rating with 18 reviews.
