I was going through old papers and came across Dr. Cope’s name, which prompted me to look her up. She was my OB 26 years ago, and I still remember the experience vividly because it was so traumatic. My baby was due on May 22, and around May 8, during a prenatal visit, I told her the exam was extremely painful. She dismissed my concerns and told me it was normal. I love love love Dr. Cope. I had a wonderful experience with her during my first full term pregnancy since I was/am a high risk and was really looking forward to using her for any additional children. However, per her front staff, it doesn't matter if you are already an established patient they will not schedule you if she already has a certain number of OB patients already. The staff was very unhelpful and not understanding of situations.
I was a patient of Dr. Cope’s years ago. I’m writing this review now because I’ve found the cause of the pain I kept telling her I had that she blew off. Turns out it’s pelvic congestion syndrome and with just a few questions and a CT scan, it could’ve been figured out. Instead, she kept dismissing me and acting like I was being dramatic. Now that I’m getting treatment, I’m mourning the past 7 years of discomfort I’ve felt that could’ve been solved so easily if she actually cared.
